Women Who Lead is an intimate, evolving community for women who want to lead with more depth, courage and beauty in their work and lives. It began as a series of evenings and retreats, and is now entering a new season shaped by story, ritual and leadership immersions within the Red Silk Era.
I’m Natalie Turner, founder of Women Who Lead. After many years working with leaders and organisations across Asia Pacific and Europe, I moved to Lisbon and felt a growing desire for something different–not another networking group, but a space where women could arrive as they are, be seen, and explore what their next chapter might be.
Our gatherings are shaped by three simple promises:
Real connection
Every woman is welcomed into the room, not just introduced by her role or job title. We prioritise honest conversation over small talk.
Rich diversity
We bring together women from different cultures, professions and stages of life, trusting that our differences make us wiser and more creative together.
Inner and outer growth
Each evening includes reflection and learning as well as conversation, so you leave with new insight, not just new contacts.
This is an invitation to be part of a community that honours both your ambition and your inner life. Whether you come for one evening or stay for the longer journey, Women Who Lead offers a place to explore who you are becoming, and how you want to lead from here.
If you can’t join us for our next event, but feel drawn to the space we’re creating, you’re welcome to stay connected.
Join the Women Who Lead community to hear about future gatherings, retreats and events in Portugal.
A great event. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet women from different countries and industries. The organisation was faultless and the quality of discussions we had was fantastic. The atmosphere brought out the best in everyone who attended. Natalie’s hosting was a definite highlight.

A moment to Arrive, Exhale and Look Ahead
Many of us arrive at the beginning of the year carrying two stories at once: the outer story of how successful and capable we appear, and the inner story of what it has really cost.
This evening is an invitation to step out of performance and into truth. To meet other women who lead, not through business cards and small talk, but through presence, listening and honest reflection.
It continues the work of what I am calling my Red Silk Era, a season rooted in story, fiction and a more human way of leading. In this space, we begin by exploring two inner energies that shape how we move through the world: the Warrior, which brings discernment, boundaries, clarity and decisive action, and the Lover, which brings presence, connection, intuition and relational depth. When used consciously and from their highest expression, these energies create a way of leading that is both steady and alive, rooted and imaginative, capable of holding truth without losing tenderness.
The Red Silk Supper is an intimate, gentle way to mark this shift together and to listen for what your own next chapter might be asking of you.
Is this for you?
This evening is designed for women in Portugal who:
Hold leadership responsibility in their organisation, business or creative field.
Are tired of surface-level networking and want real, meaningful connection.
Feel that something is shifting in themselves and are curious about their next chapter.
Are drawn to spaces where purpose, courage, beauty and pleasure can sit at the same table.
You do not need to have attended a Women Who Lead event before. If the language of Lover, Warrior and the Red Silk Era resonates with you, you are welcome.
An intimate supper in four gentle movements
Arrival and welcome to the Sala Nobre room–full of its own stories. A historic space just for us.

Supper and unhurried conversation over a seasonal buffet from The Editory kitchen

A guided journaling ritual inspired by The Red Silk Dress and the shift from Warrior to Lover energy
Arrivals, buffet supper and curated introductions
You will arrive in Sala Nobre to a warm welcome, a glass of wine and a buffet supper laid out in the room.
Once everyone has had a chance to settle in, I will guide gentle, facilitated introductions so you can meet each woman beyond her role or job title.
You will be invited to share where you find yourself at the beginning of this year and what has been most alive for you.
A story from the Red Silk Era
I will share a short, personal reflection on how my own leadership has been shaped by both Warrior and Lover energies, what shifted as I began writing my debut novel, The Red Silk Dress, and why this next chapter of Women Who Lead invites me to use these energies more consciously, from their highest expression, rather than from habit or strain.
I will also offer a glimpse into the opening pages of my novel, to be published in February 2026.
This will set the tone for the journaling ritual to come.
.
Lover and Warrior journaling practice
I will then guide you through a simple journaling framework to reflect on 2025 and set a deeper, more grounded intention for 2026.
We will explore:
Where your Warrior has served you, and where she has pushed too hard.
Where your Lover has quietly supported you, and where she has been ignored.
The choices you want to make next year so that both parts of you feel honoured.
You will have quiet time to write, listen inwardly and let your own words arrive on the page.
Over something sweet – there will be time to share in pairs or small groups, to listen, and to enjoy unhurried conversation with other women who are navigating similar questions in their own lives and leadership.
We will end the evening with a short closing, gathering one intention you wish to carry into 2026, before stepping back out into the Lisbon night.
Places are limited, please book early to avoid disappointment.
